Jacki Clark – Angry Boris

I am relatively new to VR drawing, although I was introduced to it about two years ago, I have only recently been able to acquire and set up my own equipment. My background is Fine Art and I am looking to develop my VR techniques and gain enough confidence to adapt to my own personal style.
This was a relatively swift sketch, taking roughly two hours, inspired by the morning news and published photographs. I was trying to experiment with different ways and methods to create characters and portraits and here I used mainly the hull brush. I haven’t developed it further as have gone on to explore more complex methods and mix of brushes but this sketch marked a waypoint in my development and I enjoyed doing it, which is why I have submitted this particular one. It’s much more of a caricature than I would normally illustrate in the plastic arts; this reflects my emerging skills in Tilt Brush.
